After briefly pausing for a day, the market again witnessed profit booking with benchmark indices slipping 0.6 percent on December 9 mostly dragged by the IT majors, with HCL Technologies' management indicating that FY23 revenue growth will be at the lower end of earlier guidance.

The 30-share benchmark index ended at 62181.67 down by -389.01 points or by -0.62 % and then NSE Nifty was at 18496.6 down by -112.75 points or by -0.61 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 62735.42 and intraday low of 61889.11 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 18664.7 and intraday low of 18410.1
